BIS Recruitment Detailed Eligibility Criteria:-
Educational Qualification:
- For Technical Assistant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Physics/ Bio-Technology/ Food Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Electronics) with minimum 60% marks and (50% for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes).
- Or Three years diploma in (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Electronics/ Food Technology/ Metallurgy) with minimum 60% marks and (50% marks for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes).
- For Senior Technician
- Matric or its equivalent
- Industrial Training Institute Certificate in any of the following trades:
Electrician, Air-Conditioning Refrigeration, Mechanic (Diesel– Engine), Fitter, Carpenter, Welder, (the Welder should be also having passed the Welders’ Qualifying Test as per the relevant Indian Standard or its equivalent. - Two years of practical experience in the respective trade after having obtained the Industrial Training Institute certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade.
Age Limit:-
- For Technical Assistant – 18 to 30 years
- For Senior Technician – 18 to 27 years
Relaxation in Age Limit:-
- 05 years for SC/ST categories candidates.
- 03 years for OBC categories candidates.
- 10 years for PwBD categories candidates.
Post wise vacancies: 50 Posts
Total vacancy is 50
- Technical Assistant – 30 Posts
- Senior Technician – 20 Posts
Salary:-
35,000/- to 45,000/- rupees per month. This salary is not mention in official notification of BIS job.
